Kingston Hospital A&E and Maternity Services

You will probably have seen in the local press articles regarding the threat to these valuable services at Kingston Hospital. The PPG is asking patients of both practices to sign a petition, organised by us, at the Merritt Centre if you visit the centre for any reason.

We are sure you will agree that our locality can in no way afford to lose these extremely valuable services. In the event of closure of the A&E department at Kingston, residents will have to travel to Tooting for this service at St. George's Hospital. This is not acceptable.

Many thanks to all of the patients who signed the petition about the possible closure of services at Kingston Hospital. Now that we have a new Government we are waiting to see what changes, if any, will be made to the previous NHS plans on this important matter.

We will update this page on matters regarding this issue as further information becomes available.
